No-Fly Zone: the Pro's and Con's

Ok, so U.N. has just approved a no-fly zone over Libya. So, what's the pro's and con's of these no-fly zones. Well, lets start with the pro's. The good thing about a no-fly zone is that it stops your enemies from flying. In the case of Libya, it will stop el-Quaddafi from sending air strikes upon the rebels. Unfortunately, the con's out way the Pro's. In order to do a no-fly zone, you need planes in the air at all times. This incredibly expensive and a big commitment. Not only that, you also need aircraft carriers in the area. That's the reason the U.S. hasn't jumped in earlier. It's to expensive, and we need to get our pocket book in check before we get in another war.
